Simulate how colors appear with various types of color vision deficiency
Color blindness (color vision deficiency) affects approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women worldwide. It is usually genetic and makes it difficult to distinguish between certain colors. The most common types are deuteranopia (green-blind) and protanopia (red-blind), which are both forms of red-green color blindness. Tritanopia (blue-blind) is much rarer. These simulations use CSS filters to approximate how colors appear to someone with each condition, but real experiences may vary.
